Automated and Scalable Cell Culture Analyzer
The BioProfile FLEX2 is, as its name suggests, flexible.
It is modular and scalable, and in its full configuration, it can analyze up to 16 parameters: The basic configuration includes: chemistry (glucose, lactate, glutamine, glutamate, ammonium, sodium, potassium) and blood gas analysis (pO2, pCO2, pH). These analyses utilize Nova Biomedical's revolutionary MicroSensor™ card technology with optical measurement. It is possible to complement this configuration by adding additional modules:
• Cell counting (measurement of total cell density, viability, cell diameter) performed using trypan blue exclusion technology.
• Osmometer, with measurement conducted through freezing point depression.
It offers several sampling options:
• Manual: using syringes - for urgent samples, or on a 24-position carousel - for continuous loading, or on a 96-well plate - for batch processing.
• Automatic: for optimized profitability/productivity and user safety. either the OLS which is adaptable to numerous bioreactors or the ESM dedicated to Sartorius Ambr15/250 systems.
This range is constantly seeking improvements and evolving. For example, compared to the previous generation "BioProfile FLEX", none of the 11 chemistry and gas sensors require maintenance, the sample volume for the full test menu is reduced by 75% to 275 microliters, the test duration is reduced to just 4.5 minutes, and the resolution has been increased.

The Fastest Automated Cell Counting Analyzer
The all-new BioProfile FAST CDV is, as its name suggests, ultra-fast.
• Throughput of over 45 samples per hour
• Small samples, 100 μL
• Automated cell counting up to 140 million cells/mL
• Samples: 32-position carousel and 96-well plates
• Software compliant with 21 CFR Part 11
• Full network integration - transmits data and images
The BioProfile FAST CDV is a next-generation fully automated analyzer designed to meet the needs of cell culture scientists requiring high-throughput, fast, and extremely accurate measurements of cell density and viability. Using trypan blue exclusion technology and the most innovative and automated sample preparation in the industry, results are available in a maximum of 83 seconds, while virtually eliminating all manual sample preparation procedures. The necessary dilution steps for cell counting up to 140 million cells/mL are automatic. The FAST CDV requires only 100 μL of sample, which will be analyzed using a Nova-patented cup; the cups are specifically designed to eliminate cell adhesion to the walls, to improve mixing of high-density cell cultures, to ensure stability when the carousel is in motion, and thus improve the quality of your results.
This range is constantly seeking improvements and evolving. For example, the FAST CDV is a new product derived from the Bioprofile Flex2 range to provide more flexibility and solutions to laboratories.
