Deeptope has developed a methodology, using a combination of technologies (Yeast Surface Display, flow cytometry and high-throughput sequencing), which makes it possible to
- replace each amino acid in a protein sequence with the 20 other amino acids,
- express all variants (each mono-mutant),
- functionally correlate the impact of each mutation on the interaction of a protein with its ligand.
We characterize protein-ligand interactions (epitope/paratope mapping) and then optimize protein sequences, generally for therapeutic indications (e.g. antibodies, cytokines, etc.).
