About us

CYTOO is a contract research organization working on all stages of drug discovery and operating through external R&D alliances, focused on disorders affecting muscle health, genetic (DMD, DM1, FSHD,...) but also metabolic metabolic disorders (muscle weakness and waste, obesity, diabetes) and cardiac muscle diseases (cardiomyopathies, cardiometabolism). CYTOO is leveraging its proprietary micropatterning technology associated with high-content imaging platform for research and development. The approach includes disease-relevant muscle models using primary human myoblasts and robust assays for glucose uptake, autophagy, mitophagy, protein catabolism or synthesis, atrophy rescue, electrical stimulation, and more.

Business offer

Our proprietary discovery platform and unique cell-based assay services, can be used from target identification, primary and secondary drug screening, up to the development of GMP-compliant potency assays for batch release.

Additionally CYTOO developed standardized micropatterned plates and chips optimized for High-Content Screening (HCS) that can be bought as a products compatible with conventional imaging systems and automated lab platforms (different formats and surface options available).
