About us
As an Air Liquide Group Business Unit, BioKryo provides biorepository services to support research and development of biotherapy projects.
With a storage capacity of more than 20 million biological samples, the BioKryo network operates in three European countries, with four dedicated sites. Each site offers a complete range of cryogenic services, with storage temperatures ranging from -196°C to +20°C and including all associated services such as cryogenic sample transport.

The service is designed for research teams in the human and veterinary health sector, pharmaceutical or cosmetic industries, who wish to secure their samples, duplicate their collections or free up space in their premises.
The BioKryo network, ensures the harmonization of all processes and quality systems are harmonized to meet the highest quality and safety standards for diagnostic, research and therapeutic purposes, wherever a sample is stored.
Sample monitoring and traceability is ensured 24/7/365 in a double
automated control by teams of technicians and biologists. All sites comply with
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) from reception to storage and provision of biological samples.

All processes and quality systems meet the highest quality and safety standards for secure storage of research, bio-production and therapeutic resources. Biokryo also manages storage of BSL 1 to 3 microorganisms and level I and II GMOs.
